ČD Cargo is a joint-stock company 100% owned by ČD, a.s. The subsidiary ČD Cargo, a.s., was established on 1 December 2007. ČD Cargo provides shipments of industrial and agricultural commodities, raw materials, automobiles, fuels and propellants, goods, containers and oversized freight. ČD Cargo also leases and rents out freight wagons, and provides siding and other shipping services. ČD Cargo’s future is connected with investments in infrastructure supporting the integration of industrial zones with railway transport, and in the construction of combined transport terminals and logistics centres.
