CDCPIndia is a registered non-government, not-for-profit, non-commercial, democratic and vendor-neutral national society that promotes digitalization of the construction and infrastructure industry in India. Founded in 2020 by veterans and industry leaders, CDCPIndia brings a diversified, mature and professional perspective and the collective wisdom and their desire to give back to the society is one of the key strengths and advocate implement digital technologies and processes in the infrastructure sector. It aims is to collaborate with various industry bodies, professional bodies of AECO community, academia, corporations engaged in the Infrastructure Industry and the government to accelerate the use of digital technologies and processes. buildingSMART India is a national-level initiative of CDCPIndia in collaboration with buildingSMART International aimed at promoting the use of openBIM standards and interoperability across the life cycle of any built environment. The purpose of the buildingSMART India chapter is to provide an inclusive and collaborative discussion forum for the Indian AECO community to take part in the development and implementation of global open digital standards and services that can help enhance automation and improve the decision-making process, further helping to achieve the objectives of sustainability and productivity.
