Community Development for Peace (CDP)

Vision We seek a world of expectation, acceptance, and social justice for women and girls, where poverty has been overcome and all people live in dignity and security. Mission CDP works around the globe to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve women's rights and education. Focus We put women and girls in the center because we know that we cannot overcome poverty until all people have equal rights and opportunities. Principles Independent of counter-terrorism, women empowerment, poverty alleviation, sustainability of development objectives CDP promotes the protection of humanitarian space. We provide assistance on the basis of need, regardless of race, creed, or nationality addressing the rights of vulnerable groups, particularly women and girls. CDP follows a set of programming principles in our emergency, rehabilitation, and long-term development work.
