Our research work is dedicated to identify social and behavioral interventions that offer solutions to numerous socio-economic, health and other issues in Sri Lanka. Thereby, we also make recommendations to relevant authorities and intervene directly to ameliorate problems, creating awareness among the general public and enhancing the social capital of communities. We are dedicated to promote evidence-based policy making, in order to uplift the quality of life at a community level.
Our Objectives;
- Carry out national and community level socioeconomic and communication research, action research and implement intervention programmes.
- Undertake research for governmental, nongovernmental, UN and other national and international organizations.
- Disseminate research findings through media, seminars, workshops, websites, newsletters and training programs.
- Assist and promote research activities among members and mobilize community to address socio-economic and environmental issues
