Center for Disaster Risk Management (CDRM)

The Center for Disaster Risk Management (CDRM) is a Bangladesh-based innovation-driven organization committed to reducing disaster and climate risks through technology, research, and inclusive action. CDRM operates at the intersection of science, sustainability, and community resilience, utilizing GIS, remote sensing, artificial intelligence, IoT, and advanced data analytics to deliver solutions that enable vulnerable populations to prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural hazards. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates with government agencies, development partners, academic institutions, and grassroots organizations to develop early warning systems, conduct multi-hazard risk assessments, and design climate adaptation strategies that are locally relevant and scientifically robust. With a strong presence in coastal, flood-prone, and hilly regions of Bangladesh, CDRM is advancing national efforts to build resilience in the face of increasing climate variability, extreme weather events, and environmental degradation.
