A main reason for this was increasing use antibiotics and other chemical substances in the livestock farming. Many animal diseases are also the result of "civilized" mass farming, one-sided nutrition, and a lack of attention to biological relationships in animal husbandry. This knowledge is the basis for the innovative cdVet product and company concept.
