Manufacture of precision metal parts and components. Our capabilities include CNC machining, welding, fabrication and complex assemblies and we supply prestigious blue-chip companies throughout the UK and internationally.
We have built an enviable reputation throughout many sectors including Nuclear & Marine, Defence, Aerospace, Rail, Pharmaceutical and Electric vehicles
Our CNC lathes have live tooling capacity with a maximum turning diameter of 500mm and length of 1500mm and we have several horizontal and vertical milling machines with a maximum size envelope of 3000mm x 1500mm x 500mm. We have invested in new machinery including a 32-pallet high speed accurate machine.
Our new laser is one of the most innovative machines on the market and can cut up to 25mm thickness in mild steel, 20mm thickness in stainless steel and 15mm thickness in aluminium.
Our MIG and TIG welding department can weld alloy steels, stainless steel, aluminium, armour and our 18 coded welders have over 90 weld procedures along with our fabrication department who can press, fold and form complex parts.
In addition to manufacturing our fitting team is resourced to undertake the full assembly, integration and testing of products.
Our Design For Manufacture uses Solid Works CAD/CAM 3-D modelling which can identify ways in which costs can be lowered leading to a faster and more cost-effective production process.
This helps to reduce waste and inefficiencies in the manufacturing process.
We also offer First Article Inspection Reports to AS 9102 aerospace standard using Visual FAIR software and our weld inspection is available up to PCN level 2. Final inspection takes place in a temperature-controlled environment using the latest CMM machine and 3D arm based technology.
