CEA is an Istanbul based leather goods manufacturer established in 2003. Its product range includes leather bags and small leather goods, bags and belts in PU, cotton canvas, and nylon. Factory has specialized in products made in vegetable tanned leather. CEA has been supplying largest fashion retailers in Europe since its foundation. High quality but affordable products and sustainable services have helped to improve relations with the customers into cooperations in years. Currently, CEA produces 1 million leather belts and 250 thousand various leather goods annually and all these products are sold by well known chain stores throughout the world. Factory CEA runs its own factory that is capable to process die-crust leather into finished product. It is located central Istanbul with easy access from Istanbul Grand Airport. Factory has single floor closed area of 2000 squaremeters, that also includes raw material warehouse. Factory has diverse machinery for belt and handbag production and can complete following processes in-house: - Die cutting, lace and strap cutting - Skiving and splitting - Embossing, perforating, hot-forming - Mounting and sewing - Resin application, edge finishing Conformity & Sustainability CEA management is well aware of the importance of social and environmental compliance in the ready-to-wear industry and put emphasis on well-fare of its employees. Factory is Sedex certified and is periodically audited for compliance with Turkish labor law and workplace safety regulations. Company ensures all raw material purchased are in accordance with REACH regulations. Raw materials are regularly tested for chemical restrictions and suppliers are informed and kept updated about regulations. CEA is a member of Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) and keeps track of the environmental effects by Higg Index Score.
