Current policy development / planning and decision making in Circular Economy (CE) are based on incomplete data and information where expert know-hows from grey literature is often overlooked. Grey literature produced by government agencies, corporates, consultancies, think tanks, NGOs and private sector takes only weeks to be published and comprises crucial up-to-date information but is to a great extent wild content which is not centrally accessible / available, and in the meantime is also prone to high likeliness to disappear in the future. This leads to a long existing huge knowledge gap in CE.
We solve this long existing basic problem by developing a central database called CEARCH, to curate, consolidate and preserve high quality grey literature, and make it available to stakeholders through an easy-to-use web platform via a subscription model. CEARCH is designed to be highly scalable and replicable in terms of language, geography, industry and climatic theme.
CEARCH facilitates evidence synthesis of current CE landscape and potential public-private dialogues, knowledge sharing / transfer, partnerships, coalitions and collaborations. CEARCH supports policy development and legislative implementation in overall CE which is truly effective and supportive to stakeholders.
