About CEBCAT
This project aims to address sustainability challenges in rapidly developing Asian economies, particularly Indonesia, Laos, and Vietnam, by fostering education and innovation in the circular economy. While the EU’s Green Deal has propelled sustainable transitions, many Asian countries struggle with resource-intensive industries, reliance on fossil fuels, and inefficient waste management systems. To tackle these issues, the project focuses on strengthening higher education institutions by developing postgraduate programs in environmental sustainability, circular economy strategies, and clean energy transitions. These programs, designed for graduates and professionals, will cover topics such as renewable energy, sustainable product design, and environmental impact assessment, with a special emphasis on key industries like automotive manufacturing and emerging energy technologies, including green hydrogen and biofuels. By collaborating with European partners, the initiative will equip students with advanced sustainability skills, enhancing their employability and enabling them to drive innovation in their respective fields.
