CED Gujarat

In the year 1970, a small cell was created within GIIC to impart the entrepreneurship training. It was the first attempt of its kind in the whole country and turned out to be a phenomenal success. Later on, over a period of nine years, 80 Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (EDPs) were conducted and over 50% after completing the training successfully set up their own industrial ventures. Enthused by the above success, an independent body- THE CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT (CED) was set up in the year 1979. This is the oldest organisation in the country indulged in promoting skills and entrepreneurship. Today, CED has successfully transformed the message of Entrepreneurship to each and every nook and corner of Gujarat. CED has constantly been on an innovating spree, consistently coming out with innovative programs aimed at specified target groups.
