The center for Diagnosis, Advanced Medicine and Telemedicine (CEDIMAT) is one of the most modern medical centers en the Dominican Republic, Central America, and the Caribbean.
CEDIMAT initiated operations on March 17th, 1999. A patronage presided by His Eminence Reverend Nicholas de Jesus Cardinal Lopez Rodriguez, Metropolitan Archbishop of the city of Santo Domingo, Primate of America, is in charge of it’s administration. This patronage is integrated by distinguished personalities of the Dominican society. Milagros Ureña de Baez, B.A. is the General Director.
Juan Manuel Taveras Rodriguez, M.D. propellant of this project, conceived it in order to provide Dominican citizens with a medical center which contains all the necessary components to carry out all procedures and diagnostic studies integrated in a single place, in order to offer the highest quality and affordable medical services.
