CEDI-NIT Trichy

The Center for Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation (CEDI) is an independent organization promoted by the National Institute of Technology, Trichy (NIT Trichy). Established in 2012 and registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, CEDI fosters a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem at NIT Trichy. CEDI is a SECTOR AGNOSTIC INCUBATOR which supports emerging entrepreneurs in launching technology start-ups focused on the commercial exploration of innovations. Through the Technological Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs (TIDE) project, funded by the Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India, CEDI promotes sustainable growth of start-ups in these sectors. Our mission extends beyond incubation; we are dedicated to cultivating a new generation of entrepreneurs by providing comprehensive support, including incubation, acceleration, mentoring, and funding. CEDI’s start-ups benefit from access to NITT’s shared infrastructure, departmental laboratories, and other resources essential for product development. Additionally, incubated companies can leverage the expertise of NITT’s talented students through valuable internship opportunities.
