Cedrus Architecture Studio

Cedrus is a Tehran-based, research-driven design and construction studio founded in 2017 by Mohammad Mehdi Saeidi, supported by a passionate team of skilled architects and interior designers. The studio has always strived to overcome the limitations between design and construction and deliver the best quality of architectural ideas. Cedrus has designed and constructed several projects in the fields of architecture, interior, and landscape design. Cedrus Studio believes that proper and high-quality construction is a requirement of an experienced architectural team. Therefore, the team always tries to enhance their knowledge along with design skills and stay updated. The starting point of any project is to pay attention to its environmental, social, and economic aspects and analyze each project's influential parameters. It is the basic principle to consider the demands, desires, and differences between each project's clients, which creates diversity in projects with similar contexts. Further principles of the Cedrus include maximum discussion among the team members, special attention to the characteristics of the materials, and participation in construction observation to guarantee the final look of the building. Expanding the scope of the studio to diverse areas of design at different urban scales is one of the future goals of Cedrus Studio. Cedrus attempts to move its design process towards sustainable and ecological construction. That is, everything we design and build is a response to the specific climatic and cultural conditions of each project.
