We at CEET, are convinced to contribute to global sustainable development with our research and development. We are engaged in the responsible production of substances and raw materials that we need in our daily lives, such as green fuels like hydrogen and the production of green electricity based on fuel cells. We are also exploring new processes for the production of metals from ores, the recycling of waste products and the production of chemicals and materials from bioenergy in biorefineries.
The three main research areas of the institute are chemical engineering, electrochemical engineering, and thermal process engineering. Research activities range from basic research to industrial and applied research. Experimental studies at laboratory and pilot plant scale are complemented by scale-up modeling.
