The Centre for Geopolitical Studies on the Middle East (CEGESMO) is a think tank dedicated to the study and analysis of geopolitical issues in the contemporary Middle East. It is based in Strasbourg, France.
Founded by a group of researchers and professionals, CEGESMO brings together a multidisciplinary team of experts in history, political science, economics and the languages and cultures of the Middle East. With linguistic expertise in Arabic, Hebrew, Turkish and Persian, CEGESMO offers a nuanced and multilingual understanding of regional dynamics.
Our mission is to inform public debate, educate future leaders and stimulate strategic research on Middle East issues. We are committed to producing quality research, organising conferences and seminars, and offering educational programmes for students, researchers and professionals.
