The Centre for Geopolitical Studies on the Middle East (CEGESMO) is a think tank dedicated to the study and analysis of geopolitical issues in the contemporary Middle East. It is based in Strasbourg, France. Founded by a group of researchers and professionals, CEGESMO brings together a multidisciplinary team of experts in history, political science, economics and the languages and cultures of the Middle East. With linguistic expertise in Arabic, Hebrew, Turkish and Persian, CEGESMO offers a nuanced and multilingual understanding of regional dynamics. Our mission is to inform public debate, educate future leaders and stimulate strategic research on Middle East issues.
