About Central Europen Journal of Educational Research

The Central European Journal of Educational Research (CEJER) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that presents the changing landscape of educational research across Central and Eastern Europe, published by Debrecen University Press (DUPress), Gyöngyi Karácsony, Egyetem sq. 1. Debrecen 4032 The Journal publishes 2 issues per year in June and December. CEJER provides a vehicle for the scholarly interchange of research findings that connect to each level of Central and Eastern European education, the areas of socialization, teaching, instruction, training, and educational support within formal and informal structures alike. The articles cover the whole lifespan, from early ages through adulthood with a life-wide understanding of education. The CEJER publishes special thematical issues, including research papers and book reviews. All issues present reflections on how the global and regional changes shape the world of Central and Eastern European education. The journal is open access journal, publishing and downloading articles are both free of charge. All of our articles are available in the university repository: University of Debrecen Electronic Archive. The CEJER does not charge authors any article processing charges (APCs), submission, or publication fees. Users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of these articles. Each paper is evaluated in a blind, peer review process, with at least two reviewers for a paper. We use iThenticate for plagiarism checking and in ethical issues the COPE guidelines are followed.
