CELL ALTERNATIV est un laboratoire de tests in vitro permettant l’évaluation de la toxicité, de la tolérance et l’objectivation de produits du domaine cosmétique, chimique, pharmaceutique, des dispositifs médicaux... sans l’utilisation de tests sur animaux et tenant compte des conditions d’utilisation et de l’environnement de l’utilisateur.
L’équipe, dirigée par le Dr Sophie Catoire, a développé son expertise autour de produits industriels variés (produits de soin, textiles, cuirs, produits enfants, peintures, colles…) et met à disposition des clients un savoir-faire in vitro, de plus de 20 ans, basé sur la culture cellulaire et l’ingénierie tissulaire (modèles développés au sein du laboratoire).
• Développement de méthodes in vitro à façon : étude de la cible physiologique, sélection des méthodes et interprétation.
• La réalisation d’études in vitro selon les Bonnes Pratiques de Laboratoire (BPL) en suivant les directives européennes (OECD).
CELL ALTERNATIV is an in vitro test laboratory allowing the assessment of toxicity, tolerance and objectification of products from the cosmetic, chemical, pharmaceutical, medical devices ... without the use of animal testing and taking into account the conditions of use and the environment of the user.
The team, led by Dr Sophie Catoire, has developed its expertise around various industrial products (personal care products, textiles, leathers, children's products, paints, glues, etc.) and provides cutomer with an in vitro know-how, over 20 years old, based on cell culture and tissue engineering (own models developed).
• Implementation of custom in vitro methods: study of the physiological target, selection of methods and interpretation.
• Carrying out in vitro studies according to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) following European directives (OECD).
