CellarPass, the first online and mobile reservations system for Wine Country tasting and event opportunities, announces its inaugural CellarPass Destination Awards program, which honors CellarPass destination wineries and tasting room personnel for customer-service excellence. Nominations for each award category can be completed by anyone online. In June 2014, CellarPass announced the release of their next generation of enterprise-level guest management and ticket sales platform, offering new functionality, improved performance and for the first time ever, the back office is now compatible with tablets and mobile devices. Completely re-written for v2.0, the CellarPass platform provides a new user interface that provides the same user experience no matter what device is being used to access the system. Screens have been consolidated, allowing A brand-new, web-based calendar system allows schedules to be adjusted on the fly, including capacity and location, while providing new views to display the client’s schedule and reservations. Users will notice the major speed performance when it comes to using the new calendar system as screens are refreshed instantaneously, even for the heaviest of users. Existing users of the platform will notice the next time they log into the system a new interface design is their cue of the upgrade. All the prior functionality that was available in the old system is found in the new version, with some slight changes that help reduce the number of clicks required to gain access to guest and reservation details.
