Protein deficiency is a major problem for around one billion of the world’s population.
For many, the root cause is poor quality protein which is lacking in one or more of the essential amino acids the body needs but cannot synthesise. For others, it is the inability to digest protein for a variety of physical or medical reasons.
There are two major consequences. Malnutrition in developing countries, health and recovery issues for a large patient population in the developed world.
The key for both groups is not just the provision of protein but the ease with which they can digest it. The solution is a balanced amino acid compound (pre-digested protein) in a form that is absorbed easily, quickly and almost completely.
