The Character Development award gives children and young people the opportunity to develop the confidence to think independently and make positive, informed decisions by learning to consider the impact of their actions and behaviour on themselves, on others and on the world around them. Not only supporting the introduction of the Curriculum for Wales, but helping young people to be happy, healthy, positive members of society with the ability to deal with all that life has to throw at them.
The award is delivered every week throughout the academic year consisting of outdoor, fun, practical activities. Pupils are given the opportunity to learn kinasthetically through challenging real life scenarios.
