The founder, Yoshimasa Nakamura, visited approximately 59 countries during his time living as an expatriate in London. He experienced firsthand the diverse people and cultures from different backgrounds. He realized that Japan's ancient culture and customs have permeated the world in various forms.
Upon returning to Japan in 2024, he started the D2C brand CENSÈ with the aim of enriching everyday life by blending Japanese traditions with the world's diverse cultures and sharing this from Japan with the world.
