CENTAUR

CENTAUR, short for Copernicus ENhanced Tools for Anticipative response to climate change in the emergency and secURity domains, aims to respond to societal challenges stemming from Climate Change by developing and demonstrating new products and services for the Copernicus Emergency Management Service (EMS) and Copernicus Security Service in Support to EU External and Security Actions (SESA). CENTAUR will integrate data from multiple and heterogeneous sources, with a specific focus on those generated by Copernicus services. As far as the emergency domain is concerned, these data will be used to address flood-related threats to population, assets and infrastructure in urban areas; while for the security domain, food security will be the focus.
