Centaur Resources has acquired the Lobo Blanco project, which is comprised of nine tenements encompassing over 11,000ha representing a strategic land position on the prospective Pastos Grandes Salar. This provides Centaur with a solid platform from which to establish itself as a lithium pure-play. Centaur offers the compelling combination of an experienced and dedicated management team as well as an experienced Board of Directors with over 100 years of collective experience in the mining exploration industry. The listing of Centaur on ASX will allow Centaur to further explore our prospective tenement portfolio. The Listing allows investors to participate in a lithium pure-play, with highly prospective assets and sought after deposit type. The Lobo Blanco has excellent lithium exploration potential, with the possibility of moving rapidly from exploration to feasibility and development. The world’s hunger for rechargeable lithium ion batteries associated with electric and hybrid vehicles and electronics is driving a rapid increase in the world demand for lithium. From being used in electric vehicles and other new forms of battery powered technology being constantly developed and integrated into every day use, lithium is an increasingly important commodity in the daily lives of people around the world. The focus of Centaur will be to undertake an exploration and development program aimed at the completion of a bankable feasibility study and construction of a Stage 1 Lithium Carbonate Production plant with a run rate of 1200tpa.
