Center for Climate Action

The Center for Climate Action is a new, solutions‐oriented program of the Climate Action Reserve. The Center brings together leaders in government, business, environment and science to advance climate action. We do this by convening thought‐leaders to discuss emerging issues in climate policy and build consensus for policy‐oriented action. In 2009, the Center for Climate Action is focusing on four climate issues: 1. AB 32 and the Western Climate Initiative 2. Federal climate initiatives 3. Road to Copenhagen (COP 15) 4. Mitigation & adaptation The many services that the Center for Climate Action offers include webinars on emerging issues in climate policy; workshops and trainings that focus on best practices, technologies of the future and climate solutions that benefit the bottom line; study trips that bring together leading climate experts to study best practices in climate programs and policies around the world; an annual educational conference – Navigating the American Carbon World; and a delegation to the UNFCCC Climate Change Conference and Negotiations.
