Center for Engineering Education Development (CEED)- KGRCET

KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology has established a Center for Engineering Education Development (CEED) in 2015 with inspiration from IUCEE’s program on Gurukul’s and KLE Technological University’s Center for Engineering Education Research (CEER). CEED was co-founded by two engineering faculty in KGRCET who successfully completed their IIECP certifications, innovated their respective teaching and learning practices, and later convinced the college management on the large value of promoting good practices to the entire institution. The establishment of CEED is a reflection of the institution's focus on innovative teaching and learning practices as highlighted in our vision statement. Vision To promote research and facilitate best practices in engineering education to enhance students’ learning and outcomes. Mission - Foster an environment in the institution to encourage innovation in teaching, learning, and assessment. - Facilitate research in engineering education and disseminate the work in conferences and journals. - Keep faculty members updated with the best practices in teaching, learning, and assessment in engineering education through training, workshops, and attending conferences. - Connect with international experts in the field of engineering education
