About Center for Gene Expression (CGEN), University of Copenhagen

The Center for Gene expression (CGEN) was established in April 2023 through a grant from the Danish National Research Foundation as part of their Centers of Excellence programme and is based at the Institute for Cellular and Molecular Medicine with many collaborations within the University of Copenhagen, nationally, and abroad. It is led by Professor Jesper Svejstrup and also houses research groups led by Professor Simon Bekker-Jensen, Associate Professor Lea Gregersen and Associate Professor Peter Haahr.
