The Center for Humanities and Artificial Intelligence (CHAI) is an interdisciplinary academic and research center. Our academic objective is to foster a collaborative environment for research and teaching across interdisciplinary undergraduate and graduate programs, integrating engineering or science studies with subjects like AI and Ethics, Philosophy of AI, and the societal impact of AI. This entails cooperation with diverse faculties at the Technion and Haifa University. On the research front, we offer opportunities and coordinate cross-university joint programs in areas such as information systems, computer science research agendas, social sciences, philosophy of AI, machine ethics, and more.
