Center for Mobility Studies | CfM

The Center for Mobility Studies (CfM) is based at the Zeppelin University. It analyses regulatory, ecological, economic, cultural and planning frameworks of innovative business models in mobility markets. Our goal is to create a platform for interdisciplinary, intercultural and intermodal cooperation for productive networking of science with the mobility industry. We are a research institute for mobility in Germany and in Europe, analysing and highlighting the economic, psychological, sociological and technical aspects of mobility and thus providing the essential impulses for business model innovations in consideration of the European Green Deal. Therefore, CfM is also registered in the European Transparency Register (TR ID Number: 065264248348-06). With the theory of Institutional Role Model, the CfM offers an independent approach on how to significantly accelerate the market introduction of mobility-innovations and -business models. This shortening from idea to market introduction is based on the principles of a decentralized economic system architecture. Therefore, platform economics, economics of artificial intelligence as well as system dynamics and industrial economics are the current research fields of CfM.
