Center for Sensing Solutions - Eurac Research

The CENTER FOR SENSING SOLUTIONS is a technology competence center with the aim of supporting researchers and SME in following and fully safeguarding entire data life cycles. We actively collaborate with interdisciplinary research entities, the South Tyrolean Digital Innovation Hub and small business units. The aim of the Center is to foster innovation by developing and providing tailored technological solutions in two main areas, namely sensing technology (instrumentation) and the development of web application and services. Located in the NOI Techpark, the Center works in synergy with digital, food, IT & automation ecosystems and in collaboration with the research organisation and (local) SMEs, bringing together prototypes of applied research to a real environment, optimising the components (HW and SW) in terms of efficiency, robustness, automation and reduction of consumption. Our main areas of expertise lie in the fields of acquisition, organisation, processing, analysis and sharing heterogenous data as well as the transformation of data into valuable and usable information.
