Center for Shared Prosperity

The Center for Shared Prosperity works to bring the vision of a more equitable future for our region into reality through compassion, curiosity and collaboration. One mistake that institutions have consistently made in the journey towards this goal is the exclusion of their surrounding community within the problem solving process. This Center will work to bring faculty, staff and students from Carnegie Mellon University together with community-based organizations and community leaders to build an infrastructure based in collaboration, whose goal is to identify and address structural barriers to equity.
