About Algarve Biomedical Center - Training and Simulation
The Center for Training and Simulation of the Algarve Biomedical Center is a fully equipped center for medical simulation and experimental surgery. It aims to provide an immersive experience for trainees from beginner to advanced sub-specialty levels in the fields of intensive care, general surgery and other surgical specialties such as ophthalmology. The center is equipped with experimental surgery and anatomical theatres, mixed reality technology and a state-of-the-art 3D printing lab.
