The Center for Power Issues and Initiatives (CPII) is a resource center that focuses on the Philippine Electric Power Industry within the framework of sustainable energy and energy democracy. Our advocacy and campaigns are primarily designed towards the promotion and achievement of sustainable development in this important area of the economy while learning from global perspectives, analyses, and practice. The founders of CPII have had extensive experience in community and political organizing, research and advocacy, legal and meta-legal intervention, networking, and participating in legitimate forums to call power utilities and other players to account for their actions and to comply with their obligations to consumers.
