The Central Iowa Workforce Development Board (CIWDB) is dedicated to strengthening the workforce system in Central Iowa, serving the counties of Boone, Story, Dallas, Polk, Jasper, Madison, Warren, and Marion. As part of Iowa’s public workforce system, CIWDB partners and provides coordination and oversight to the local IowaWORKS office which provides comprehensive employment services and career development support at no cost to Iowans living in the counties we serve. We are a proud partner in connecting job seekers with quality employment and helping local businesses find and retain skilled workers. Through IowaWORKS American Job Centers, we offer personalized resume and interview assistance, career planning support, connections to virtual workshops, and proven training programs—all aimed at helping individuals advance in their career paths and achieve self-sufficiency.
