Central Texas Clean Cities, known as the Lone Star Clean Fuel Alliance until August 30th, 2024, is a U.S. Department of Energy-recognized, membership-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit coalition. We have proudly served the Central Texas region since 1994, providing over 30 years of dedicated support to municipalities, government agencies, businesses, and educational institutions with vehicle fleets. Our call to action is to advance clean and efficient transportation by finding the intersection of community, technology, and environment to support the use of Clean Transportation Fuels and Technologies in Central Texas. We are a member of the U.S. Department of Energy’s national Clean Cities network which is housed in the Office of Vehicle Technology’s Technology Integration area. At the national level, the U.S. Department of Energy's Vehicle Technologies Office provides unbiased and objective resources and information to help transportation stakeholders evaluate options and achieve goals around alternative fuels, advanced vehicles, mobility solutions, and other fuel-saving strategies. At the local level, a national network of local coalitions like CTXCC leverage these resources to create networks of local stakeholders. Join us!
