Centrax Gas Turbines

Centrax Gas Turbines manufacture gas turbine-powered generator sets ranging from 3.9 MW to 15 MW. The generator sets are based on Siemens 501, 300, and 400 gas turbines. The company employs more than 250 people, mainly at the Centrax manufacturing facility in Newton Abbot, UK and also has service operations located in Russia and seven European countries. The Company offers a range of support to customers, from routine visits by fully qualified Service Engineers to Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts. This means that the Company is able to offer reliability and availability guarantees that are unmatched in this market sector. To date, more than 330 Centrax generator sets have been sold throughout Europe and beyond, primarily for Combined Heat and Power/Cogeneration and Power Generation as well as for standby and On/Offshore applications. Centrax packages operate in many industries including manufacturing, public utilities and district heating applications and have accumulated over 21 million hours of operating experience.
