This over active mind leads us to want the next thing, causes a lot of stress and can at times give us a sense of dissatisfaction with life.
When we can lower are mental activity, come into the present moment and simply 'be,' life inherently becomes lighter and more enjoyable. You get to enjoy every moment for what it offers and great pleasure is often found from the simplest of things in life.
Not only is being more enjoyable. This 'being' is who you really are.
This Being is an unchanging, timeless awareness looking out at the world. It fills us with a sense of 'I am' or here-ness that feels deeply peaceful and joyous, while not requiring any outside contribution to maintain the state.
