The Centre for Global Epilepsy is based at Wolfson College, University of Oxford and is generously supported by the BAND Foundation. Our mission is to empower global epilepsy research and care together. We are building a global network of researchers, advocates and clinicians working in resource limited settings. We are leading capacity building initiatives and driving the development of culturally contextualised tools and techniques to improve the diagnosis, treatment and outcomes of people with epilepsy. At the core of our mission is a commitment to working with people affected by epilepsy and their communities, challenging stigma and advocating for greater understanding and awareness worldwide.
