About Centre for Human-Computer Interaction Design (HCID)
The Centre for Human-Computer Interaction Design (HCID) at City St George's, University of London is a world-leading centre for HCI research, teaching and consultancy. Our primary focus is on studying the relationship between people and technology with the aim of creating meaningful experiences that improve people’s lives. This is achieved through a mixture of theoretical and applied research, guided by an overarching “design for good” philosophy. HCID is a collective endeavour with a strong ethos of care and collegiality for each other, our students, the wider society and the planet. We channel our research excellence into teaching. We offer a highly successful full-time/part-time MSc in Human-Computer Interaction Design which focuses on designing technologies for user experience (UX), inclusivity and social good. We also run the successful City Interaction Lab
