Centre for Rural Development

The Centre for Rural Development (CRD) is a voluntary organization established in 1994, dedicated to improving the livelihoods of rural communities through sustainable practices in animal husbandry, agriculture, and fishery. For over 26 years, CRD has been a pioneer in driving rural development initiatives in the Noida area and beyond. Our organization has successfully served as a District Nodal NGO for the ARIASP, a World Bank-funded project, for the last four years. Currently, we continue to contribute as a District Nodal agency for the AACP, another prestigious World Bank project. Among our numerous initiatives, the Rickshaw Bank stands out as our flagship project. This asset-based microfinance program empowers individuals by providing them with the means to own rickshaws, fostering economic independence and stability. At CRD, we are committed to creating self-sufficient rural communities through innovative solutions and collaborative efforts. Our programs are designed to address the diverse needs of rural populations, ensuring sustainable development and enhanced quality of life.
