"Scientia Atque Usus" Research Center for Generative Communication is a Research Body of the voluntary sector with a public purpose and with a strong political and social commitment. Based in Florence, this is the last evolution of a Research Center - whose name was C.R.A.I.A.T. - founded by Luca Toschi in 1991 with the scientific and economic support of various national and international entities (including Ministries of the Italian Government and IBM).
The research projects, developed in the field of Generative Communication and in collaboration with organisations, companies, institutions at national and international level, to enhance the public value of scientific knowledge by creating a synergy between the academic world and the territory that gives an active role to all stakeholders and citizens for a real and effective definition of public and citizen science.
