CSI S.P.A. nasce nel 1986 come produttore di sistemi elettronici per la sicurezza domestica e industriale.
La sede principale è ad Alpignano, in provincia di Torino, area in cui sono concentrate l'amministrazione, il centro di ricerca e sviluppo e le unità produttive.
Nei trent'anni di attività, l'azienda ha conosciuto un intenso sviluppo: il passaggio da realtà locale a nazionale e poi europea è iniziato con l'apertura delle nuove sedi di Cambiago (MI), Palermo e di Bra (CN), ed è proseguito con la nascita delle varie agenzie di vendita sul territorio.
CSI è stata tra le prime aziende in Italia e in Europa a proporre soluzioni come la telegestione via telefonica per i propri sistemi, la connessione GSM (ora GSM/GPRS) bidirezionale e, in tempi più recenti, la connessione remota tramite internet.
Oggi CSI si presenta come azienda dinamica, che fa tesoro delle esperienze del passato con lo sguardo sempre rivolto al futuro, alla ricerca e all'innovazione.
CSI S.P.A. was established in 1986 as a manufacturer of domestic and industrial electronic security systems.
The company headquarters is in Alpignano, in the province of Turin, and is home to administration, the research and development centre and production units.
The passage from operation at local level to a national and then European level began with the opening of new premises in Cambiago (in the province of Milan), Palermo and Bra (in the province of Cuneo), and continued with the birth of various sales agencies throughout the country.
CSI was one of the first companies in Italy and Europe to propose solutions like remote management of its systems using telephony, the two-way GSM connection (now GSM/GPRS) and, more recently, remote connection via internet.
CSI is now a dynamic company which makes the most of past experiences with an eye constantly on the future, research and innovation.
