經行政院核定「千架海陸風力機計畫」，確立離岸風電「先示範、次潛力、後區塊」之推動策略，其後擴大再生能源設置目標，其中離岸風電設置容量將於民國119年完成5.5GW，包含於106年通過EIA的潛力風場且符合107年遴選辦法之躉購電價3.5GW及競標制度的2GW分別於民國114及119年商轉服務，順利開啟國內外開發商的投資大門，也確保了在地化的發展性；其後為厚植綠能產業永續發展能量，再宣示於民國114年再生能源發電占比達20％，離岸風力發電更為產業發展主軸。此時正是引進國外技術，開發國內產能，加入離岸風電供應鏈之最佳時機。
以全球的風力發電發展趨勢而言，丹麥是目前此一技術的佼佼者，本公司遠赴丹麥，實地觀摩風力發電設施與技術心得交流，並已爭取未來與台灣的合作機會。也將持續開拓海外市場，除期待協助政府於2025年實現「非核家園」的計畫外，也期望能藉此經驗，開發世紀未來的新氣象。
