CEPAD-USA

CEPAD-USA is a U-S-based nonprofit organization that raises awareness and mobilizes funding for CEPAD in Nicaragua. We connect with people who care about our Nicaraguan neighbors and want to help them create brighter futures for themselves and their children. We accept tax-deductible contributions and provide grants to CEPAD for specific projects and programs helping the people of rural Nicaragua create opportunities in their communities for sustainable change. CEPAD provides sustainable community development in 47 communities in rural Nicaragua. CEPAD empowers and encourages community leaders by training them in community organization, advocating for needs to their local governments and other nonprofits, and small business development for women. It’s a five-year engagement intended to help communities lift themselves out of poverty.
