Le CEPROSSAN est une Association sans but lucratif de Droit Congolais créé en 1996, à Butembo, au Nord-Kivu, en République Démocratique du Congo. Il est reconnu de travailler sur toute l'étendue de la RDC par la personnalité juridique lui accordée sous le N°751/CAB/MIN/J/2005 du 09 avril 2005. Le CEPROSSAN est enregistré sous le numéro 004/13 comme ASBL, ONG exerçant dans le domaine humanitaire par la Convention de partenariat N°001/CAB.MIN/AFF.SAH.SN/2013 du 15 mai 2013 signée avec le Gouvernement Congolais représenté par le Ministère des Affaires Sociales, Action Humanitaire et Solidarité Nationale et par une convention de collaboration avec le ministère de l’agriculture et développement rural de la RDC portant N°026/CAB/MIN/AGRIDER/2013, du 05 octobre 2013.
Pour atteindre cette vision, CEPROSSAN travaille en partenariat avec les organisations tant nationales qu’internationales.
Le CEPROSSAN veut œuvrer pour un monde assaini tout en prenant en compte la médecine intégrée (curative, préventive et promotionnelle), la dimension protection, bonne gouvernance, genre, plaidoyer, sécurité alimentaire, éducation et lutte contre le VIH /SIDA, etc.
