Cerescon is a very young, fast developing high tech start up. Cerescon is developing, producing and marketing a full automatic asparagus harvesting machine. Harvesting asparagus is up till now a very labour intensive activity. Thousands of manual worker’s hare harvesting during the season. Cerescon is the first company that has successfully proven the feasibility of a full automatic asparagus harvesting machine. A functional model of the machine is tested this season in cooperation with Wageningen University of Research and some larger asparagus farmers. The concept of the machine is as promising as the combine was for cereal production in the 20th century.
Now the financing is arranged, Cerescon is facing the challenge to make this innovation a successful product and to let Cerescon grow to a successful company.
