Certification International Philippines, Inc. (CIP) was incorporated under the Philippine law in April 1995. It is a major certification body in the Philippines, with a portfolio of clients who are leaders in their respective business sectors.
CIP provides certification and public training services in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 27001 and ISO 50001. Integrated management system certification is also provided. Together with strategic global partners, additional services have also been developed in the fields of FSSC 22000 and ISO 55001. In cooperation with NVT Private Ltd of India, CIP offers AS9100 training and ANAB accredited certification services for manufacturers and service providers to the aerospace industry. A lead auditor course in ISO 9001:2015 is available at CIP, in cooperation with Socotec Certification Japan.
Over 900 Philippine and multinational companies have been certified by CIP. Whether large or SMEs, CIP clients represent a wide cross-section of Philippine business and public administration. They include government banks and corporations as well as government agencies, such as LGUs and Departments, together with their Bureaus and Regional and Provincial Offices.
In 1997, CIP was the first certification body in the Philippines to achieve accreditation by the Philippine Accreditation Bureau (PAB) of the Department of Trade and Industry for its Quality Management System certification services. Additional accreditation was later conferred on CIP for its Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000) and HACCP certification services. UKAS-accredited certification services are accessible through CIP from its overseas partners.
