I found myself one night, sailing across the Gulf Stream with my brother and a small group of friends. Because chance always plays a role in true adventure, a squall blew in and we faced intimidating waves, wind and rain the entire night. While most of our group attempted to retire below for what would surely be a failed night’s rest, a few of us stayed on deck and weathered the storm.
