About Certified Instructional Technologist
Certified Instructional Technologist (CIT) is a professional designation earned by instructional designers and developers. Upon completion of the requirements, the CIT designation after the recipient’s name shows a level of professional expertise that has been demonstrated by performing more than forty skills required by the profession. Those skills are demonstrated before a certified facilitator during the following three workshops: Criterion-Referenced Instruction (CRI), either Building Better Job Aids or Build Training Fast, and Instructional Module Development.
