Center for Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management, Ajmer

First and only university-based Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) in India Jointly promoted by erstwhile Ministry of SSI (Now Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise MSME), Government of India and Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer At present, National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD), NOIDA, (Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship) is the partner Institute of the Center for ESBM. Center for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management (Center for ESBM) came into existence at the campus of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University on April 24, 2004. This is the first university-based Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI). It is housed in Vikramaditya Bhawan. Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University at Ajmer is the first university in the country to be supported by the Ministry of Small Scale Industries of Government of India to set up this campus-based Entrepreneurship Development Institute.
